NOMIO —
YOUR FIRST
STEPS
IN RUSSIA
Nomio helps international students adapt to life in Russia with AI-powered guidance and real human support: translation, documents, mobile connection, transport, everyday questions and help after arrival.
WHAT
NOMIO
HELP
WITH
From the airport to everyday life — Nomio helps you understand what to do next.
When an international student arrives in Russia, the first challenge is rarely one big problem. It is usually many small ones: mobile connection, documents, transport, translation, housing, healthcare, university rules and everyday communication. Nomio brings these questions into one simple place. We help students understand what to do next, how to ask the right question and where to get support when the situation is more complicated. The project combines AI-powered answers with human experience from people who know what student life in Russia really feels like. Nomio was created to reduce stress during the first days and make adaptation more predictable. Our mission is simple: help students feel oriented, informed and supported from the moment they arrive.
01
DOCUMENTS
Understand what documents you may need after arrival and what steps usually come next. Nomio helps explain registration, migration card questions, university-related documents and other common procedures in simple language. You can ask what a document means, upload a photo for translation or get a clear checklist for your situation.
02
MOBILE CONNECTION
Getting a Russian phone number can be one of the first and most urgent tasks after arrival. Nomio helps students understand what is needed to get a SIM card or eSIM, how to stay connected at the airport and how to explain their request in a mobile store. We can also help you prepare messages for your family, university or host after landing.
03
TRANSLATION
Nomio helps translate text, screenshots and photos when you need to understand signs, documents, messages, menus or instructions. You can type your question or upload an image, and the bot will explain what it means in your language. This is useful in everyday situations when a simple word-for-word translation is not enough.
Everyday support for student life in Russia
04
TRANSPORT
From airports and metro systems to buses, trains and taxis, transport in a new city can be confusing at first. Nomio helps students understand routes, apps, tickets and basic travel options. You can ask how to get from the airport to your dormitory, university or another city, and receive a practical step-by-step answer.
05
HOUSING
Nomio helps with common housing questions: dormitory life, renting an apartment, communicating with landlords, understanding basic rules and translating housing-related messages. We can explain what to check before moving in and help you understand everyday situations connected with accommodation.
06
HEALTHCARE
Healthcare systems can be difficult to understand in another country, especially when language becomes a barrier. Nomio helps students understand where to start, how to describe symptoms, how to use insurance and how to communicate with clinics, pharmacies or university support staff. For urgent situations, we always recommend contacting official emergency or medical services directly.
07
WORK
Many students want to understand whether they can work, where to look for internships and how to communicate with potential employers. Nomio helps explain common job-related questions, prepare basic messages, translate vacancies and understand the first steps. We focus on practical guidance and help students avoid unclear or risky offers.
08
EVERYDAY LIFE
Nomio helps students deal with everyday communication in Russia: shops, banks, cafés, transport, university offices and daily conversations. You can ask how to say something politely, translate a message or learn useful phrases for real situations. The goal is not only to translate words, but to help you feel more confident in daily life.
Nomio works directly in Telegram, so you do not need to install a separate app. Just open the bot, choose what you need and ask your question in the language that is most comfortable for you.

Nomio is not built as a distant technology product. It is created together with people who understand what it means to arrive, study and adapt to life in Russia.
